LOUISE YOUNG MEDIA MAKE-UP TRAINING

Louise Young has been a professional make-up artist for over 20 years working in all areas of the industry from film, television and fashion through to theatre and special effects. In addition she is has lectured in Media Make-up for over 16 years and has written both an HND and Btec National in Design/Media Make-up.  The latter qualification was the first of its kind in the UK and is run widely throughout the country.

She is a fully qualified lecturer, make-up artist and NVQ assessor.  She has lectured at Wembley Conference Centre and appeared live on TV on programmes such as Looking Good and GMTV. Louise is on the HABIA Skills team 2008.

For the past 8 years Louise has run a highly successful programme of short courses throughout the UK in all aspects of media make-up both for students and for lecturers wishing to add to and update their make up skills.

Courses can be tailored to you or your college requirements both in duration and content and range from 1 day courses upwards.

During 2007/8 Louise lectured in Further Education Colleges all over the UK as well as running courses for private individuals and one to one make-up lessons. 

Students receive a Certificate of Attendance upon completion of the course and many ex students have gone on to work in the make-up industry.

The training is enjoyable and inspirational and brings up-to date industry skills to the students - feedback has been extremely positive.
